In her capacity as an executive coach, Robynne has worked with clients from a variety of business settings and has worked with leaders and executives from industries including Health Care, Finance, Law, Technology, Education, Retail & Professional Services.

Robynne’s approach to executive coaching is influenced by her training as a clinical psychologist and her experiences working as part of an administrative team. Her approach with clients is empathetic, straightforward and pragmatic. Robynne helps clients to identify the values and culture of their workplace and to determine how their value system fits within the larger organization. She encourages clients to look at situations from alternate viewpoints and to begin implementing manageable steps towards change. She helps clients to confront their fears and self-defeating behaviors so they can begin to take manageable risks. She encourages clients to look at unhealthy patterns and dynamics that may be impeding their capacity for growth. During her sessions, she focuses on both the individual and the system in which they are working.

Robynne’s overarching goal as an executive coach is to foster meaningful change so that a client can thrive in every aspect of life. Although the focus of the work may be on professional relationships and development, Robynne recognizes that many of the same issues that individuals struggle with at work also crop up in their personal relationships. When a client is able to improve relationships at work, set meaningful and achievable goals, and grow professionally, they often experience positive change in their personal life and relationships as well.

Robynne earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California at San Diego in 1989 and earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University (formerly CSPP) in 1997. During her training, she interned in a variety of settings, including Berkeley Family Services, U.C.S.F. Mount Zion and Marin County Community Health.
